When the SAS and SOE were disbanded after the war, some of them were determined to discover the truth about their comrades who had lost their lives and to bring justice to those responsible for crimes. Making use of the first official report on the Nazi concentration camps - written as early as 1944 but suppressed by Allied HQ - they searched for three years to establish the fates of these missing men and women, a horrific indictment of official inertia.
